The Stillhouse

Welcome to The Stillhouse — a quiet place to explore truth, self-mastery, and radical freedom through writing and reflection.

This space has been a long time coming. I had to work through a lot of “supposed to” to create it.

The Stillhouse is not about algorithms or virality. It’s not about sales funnels, lead magnets, or pressure to buy. It’s a place for real conversations and lived truth. I’m not here to be a guru or a guide — just someone sharing what’s been true for me.

Here, I don’t prescribe anything. I don’t tell you what you should believe, how you should heal, or what path you should follow. I simply share what I’ve lived, what I’ve learned, and what I continue to wrestle with. If it resonates, great. If it doesn’t, that’s okay too.

The work you’ll find here is rooted in sovereignty, inner responsibility, and honesty. You’ll find articles, reflections, verses, and fragments — all freely offered. There are some paid things too, but they’ll always be invitations, never demands.

This is my version of a treehouse — a space that’s real, quiet, and relaxed. There are a few share buttons here and there, but this isn’t built around social media. There is just a simple email sign-up if you want to stay connected. Nothing more.

So settle in with your tea, coffee, or whatever you like. Look around. Take what resonates and leave the rest.

I’m glad you’re here.

Love to all,

Della

The Problem With Goodness

In The Problem with Goodness, I explore how morality, obedience, and identity get tangled into systems of control—and how we can step outside them to live in truth, freedom, and authenticity.

The Quiet Power of Self-Responsibility

Self-responsibility naturally follows self-mastery. While self-mastery teaches us to manage our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors within any experience—without trying to control, manipulate, or change that experience—it’s about conscious participation with a sense of separation. This separation lets us stay present and aware while not being overwhelmed. Self-responsibility takes that foundation further. It asks us to look at the impact we

Why Blaming Technology Won’t Fix Our Broken Relationships

Relationships, society, and technology have all changed dramatically over the course of my lifetime (I’ll be 50 next week, at the time of writing this). In the wake of these changes, we’ve started looking for something to blame—especially when it comes to what we see in our kids and the next generation. But the truth is more layered than screen

What is The Stillhouse Way?

The Stillhouse Way isn’t something you sign up for.
It’s something you recognize.

You arrive with a feeling—
something’s shifting, something’s stirring.
You’re not looking for more noise.
You’re not looking for one more plan to fix yourself.

You’re looking for space.
You’re looking for truth that doesn’t come with strings attached.
You’re looking for someone who doesn’t flinch when things get real.

You might not even know what you’re seeking— until you read the words, feel the energy, and something in you exhales.

The Stillhouse Way feels like:

  • Finally, a conversation that isn’t trying to sell you something.

  • A reflection that doesn’t demand change—but invites it.

  • A place where truth is soft and fierce at the same time.

  • Permission to feel what you’re feeling without being fixed.

  • A quiet reminder: You’re not broken. You’re just in process.

It’s not a path I’m here to lead you down.
It’s a space I’ve opened— so that you can find your own footing.
Your own truth.
Your own stillness.

The Stillhouse way doesn’t promise transformation.
But it makes space for it.
And that’s what you’ve been longing for all along.
