You are protected—
not from pain,
but from losing yourself in it.
Not from endings,

You’ve earned every certificate, aced every course, built a resume that shines. Yet you feel stuck, unfulfilled, unhappy. Why? Because fulfillment isn’t on a certificate. It’s within.
You aren’t strong because the world made you that way. You are strong because you were born that way.
When feeling becomes a habit, it stops being guidance. It’s no longer responding to the present, it is simply reminding you of the past.
It’s messy and exhausting to live in a world that doesn’t really allow human beings to be in the world peacefully.
There’s a difference between choosing to rise above your circumstances to tend your inner life and floating outside of your body so far that you lose touch with the ground beneath your feet. Which one are you choosing?
The Universe will always offer you a choice. You may not like the options, you may not like the circumstances surrounding the choice, but there will always be a choice. Your perception is the only thing that determines how you feel about it.
Strength is a conscious choice you make in the middle of the chaos. Strength is not something bad that happens to you. It’s something you consciously and intentionally do for yourself.
The emotional river is meant to flow. Keep it in it’s banks, don’t disrupt its flow and you will be okay.
