But I Don’t Have a Choice

If the desire for a certain outcome is so strong that it makes you say, “But I don’t have a choice,” that’s a clue. It’s pointing to some deeper pain. It doesn’t mean you can’t have the thing you want. But it does mean that until you do the internal work, getting that thing won’t give you the result you’re hoping for.
